Linear Series, Custom original collages
The Linear Series started due to a surplus in old donated maps- I thought that if I cut them into a strips and layered them it would have a neat effect. When I add colors from magazines, scrapbooking papers, old postcards and more- I am able to create a spectrum of color!
Using a Pantone Color Palettes book I am able to find color palettes that work well in home decor, then using all the papers I have at my disposal I can create one-of-a-kind layered collages using strips of donated papers. As a set, these Linear originals can fill a wall and match a space perfectly.
Frames are handmade with wood and are painted to match your space. Wood frames occasionally have minor imperfections, but it adds to the character of the original.
Originals come with french cleats and hanging hardware.
For a limited time I will be offering custom ordered Linear Series originals! You will be able to choose up to four colors to include, which color frame you’d prefer (black, grey or white) and how long/how many will work for your space. Prices below are based on size.
Example: Cost of three 6-inch wide + 5 feet across= $1,625 + tax
The cost is based on the size of the actual collaged canvas- length does not include frame. When measuring your space, please allow an added inch to all sides to accomodate the frame.
There are two options for thickness for the original- either 4 inch or 6 inches. Four inches is better for smaller spaces, while the thicker size looks good above a bed or couch.
Max length at this point is 5 feet for the 4 inch width, 7 feet for the 6 inch width.
